And some of the ancients of the land rose up: and they spoke to all the assembly of the people, saying:
Then some of the elders stood up and spoke to all the people.
Then some of Judah's leaders stood up to speak to all the people who were there.
Some of the elders of the land got up and spoke to all the assembled people.
And certain of the elders of the land arose and spoke to all the assembled people, saying,

Then some of the respected leaders stood up and addressed the crowd: “In the reign of Hezekiah king of Judah, Micah of Moresheth preached to the people of Judah this sermon: This is God-of-the-Angel-Armies’ Message for you: “‘Because of people like you, Zion will be turned back into farmland, Jerusalem end up as a pile of rubble, and instead of the Temple on the mountain, a few scraggly scrub pines.’

At this point, some of the elders, who were leaders of other communities, stood and supported the verdict, speaking to the entire crowd.
